Notice of the 2025/6 Annual General Meeting

WHEN:  Tuesday 9th December 2025 @ 7.30pm

VENUE:   Townsville Rodders Club, 17A Yarrowee St, Currajong QLD 4812

We need to have as many members as possible to attend to ensure the continued viability of our club.
If you cannot make the meeting please send a written apology (link below). You may also assign your voting rights by proxy to another club member.

Meeting Agenda:

Nomination and Election of Officials – President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Social Secretary, Media Person, Committee Members(2) Social Committee Members, and Race Committee.

Nominations of officials can be made using the downloadable form, nominations will also be accepted from the floor at the meeting.  Nominations are required to be seconded by another member and accepted by the nominee.

Special item to the agenda:  Changes to club constitution – the word “cheque” will be removed as cheques are being phased out. Items added to the constitution – grievance procedure and wording has been changed to gender neutral.  Also changes to requirements of having the club accounts audited – small, medium and large clubs.  Voting to accept updated constitution will be held.
