- Competitors must produce a valid and current AASA Competition License. Day Licences $50.00 are for sale on the day at the track (MSCRNQ) should you wish to see if this is your thing! $190 for a yearly licence through AASA for a General Speed Licence Click Here

- Safety Requirements: Approved non-flammable clothing and footwear, with clothing extending from ankles to neck and wrists
- Safety helmet – being those with the following markings: AS1698 Australian Standard,Snell SA95, M90, SA95, SA2000, SA2020 USA Standard, SFI Spec 31.1, 31.2, 31.1A. 31.2A USA Standard (including amendments)E22 (with 03, 04 or 05 amendments) European StandardBS 6658-85 Type A and A/FR British Standard. Helmets with full face visors, or helmets with goggles, for open vehicles.
VEHICLE AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Vehicles must comply with the AASA NCR’s and the AASA Event Operations Manual.
- Vehicles must be competition ready with all loose items removed from the vehicle.
- External blue triangles (15cm sides) indicating location of battery, or isolation switch;
- Each Driver must have a race receiver communication (available for hire or purchase) from the Clerk of the Course. Ear pieces mandatory and for sale ($5.00) or buy earpiece and radio ($25.00).
- Results will be determined by timing system with transponders (available for hire) fitted to all vehicles. Results can be accessed via “Speedhive”. Transponder clips are for sale ($20.00) from the club.
- Vehicles will undergo scrutineering prior to the event.
- Fire extinguishers will be checked to make sure no extinguishers are outside of Australian standards and use by dates.
CLASSES:

- Class 2 – Up to 1600cc
- Class 3 – 1601cc to 3000cc
- Class 4 – Over 3000cc
- Class 5 – All Turbo 4WD’s
- Class 6 – V8’s (If the V8 vehicle is under 4.8lt, they can nominate in class 4)
SCHEDULE/ OTHER EVENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Passenger rides may be permitted by discretion of Clerk of Course.
- Late entries may be accepted at the Clerk of Course’s discretion. A late entry fee of $50 will be applied.
- Entries from competitors under 18 years of age must be counter signed / consented to by a parent. Minimum age is 14 years old.
- Smoking (which includes e-cigarettes and “vaping”) and any naked flame is prohibited within 3 meters of any refueling / defueling operation and in the pit area.
- Any participant may be tested for the presence of alcohol, any drug or other banned substance. In addition to any penalty imposed by AASA, a further penalty/s may be applied by Sport Integrity Australia. A positive result will incur immediate disqualification from an event.
